This gathering marks the start of the Rains Retreat (Vassa)—a period of concentrated meditation, deep study of the Dhamma, and heightened ethical discipline. For lay practitioners, it is also a time of renewed generosity (dāna), active support for the Sangha, and a rededication to personal vows and mindfulness. Your presence will enrich the occasion and strengthen our shared practice.
